Challenge

To create a functional, collaborative and exciting working environment incorporating Covid appropriate design specifics that would enhance productivity and offer users choice in the kind of workspace settings.

 

Philosophy

The design philosophy was to create a transformational workspace that would effectively engage its users and reflect Flutter’s vision of a safe, responsible, and sustainable workspace juxtaposed on a young vibrant demographic.

 

Solution 

The design provided users the choice of spaces such as open booths, informal lounges, enclosed concentrative work points or standard workstations. The design intent was to create a blend of functional, collaborative, sustainable and contemporary design to inspire engagement and innovation.

The space was peppered with collaboration and activity-based seats for team discussions, that could be easily replaced with standard workstations based on future requirements with no impact to the existing infrastructure. The exposed ceiling with designer acoustic baffles, acoustic foam spray and industrial-style suspended mesh clouds added to the visual and provided the necessary acoustic relief for the open office area.

As it was a gaming and entertainment firm, the graphics was curated to incorporate elements of gaming and sports with vinyl prints, art, graffiti, and 3D graphics. Elements of pop culture could be seen in the graphics across the office. Workstations, support spaces, meeting rooms, breakout, and recreation spaces were designed such that functionality, aesthetics, and comfort were anchored together in perfect unison.

COVID-19 guidelines were factored into the design through choices that support social distancing and enhance Indoor Air Quality.

 

The office has also been accredited the USGBC LEED Gold Certification.
